I came up with this neat idea...

I'm not sure where I came up with the idea, but I thought of a big national coffee house that seems to be the epitomy of the undermining of American values and culture and wanted to do something that people would want to support.

If I start a coffee chain, it will be a locally owned franchise in each location and have only a few restrictive guidelines. The first rule: wi-fi is free. Beyond a few basic rules, let them serve Folgers in plastic cups for all I care, so long as the spirit of open source is felt.

Oddly, when I Googled "open source cafe", which I made up, seems someone else made it up first:

  On May 9, 2021 a sergeant with the University City, Missouri Police Dept. detained and demanded the identification of a man after receiving a middle-finger salute. Sgt. A "consensual stop" in West Des Moines, Iowa

A video posted under the channel name Frank Meadows shows police being scolded for stopping a man walking along a city street. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRjUt3n7Rh0 ) The man, apparently walking to a Walmart in West Des Moines, Iowa, was flagged down by 2 police officers passing by in a marked patrol car. They were joined by another pair of officers shortly thereafter. Officers Brian Ascheman and Jacob Sutton identified themselves when asked. The other two officers, Greg Warren and Clint Ray, appeared to remain silent when asked their names. Ray is the police officer who arrested Keilon Hill for harassment on October 29, 2018 while canvassing. We live in a global caste system. An aristocracy wrapped in corporate fascism. No matter from whence it's derived, once the malignant advantaged class gets hold of a little special privilege, it locks it away in walled gardens and offers it up in small measures for temporary lease to the lesser classes in consideration for disfavored labor at a disparitive rate. Currency is a human-invented device to horde privilege to the exclusion of others. Parasitic taxes, fees and surcharges are devices to ensure wealth always leeches back to the privileged. Wealth is a function of production. Full stop. As you produce goods and provide material services in fair measure for the good of society, you earn your keep. If a man dutifully and faithfully dedicates and pledges his working years to the betterment of society, he has earned a lifetime of privilege.
